Objective One:
Students will learn about the benefits and challenges that occurred with the advancement of science and technological in the 1800's and how these changes (building bridges, inventions, etc.)shaped our future.
Objective Two:
Students will learn and make high level connections between the development of bridges / inventions and the expansion of towns, cities, and regions; development of infrastructures; increased travel and opportunities for educational, financial, social, and political progression; and the improvement of society as a whole.
Objective Three:
Students will work in collaborative teams to research (handouts, books, online, videos, etc.) and demonstrate how to write a proposal, design, build, evaluate, provide peer reviews, and present their findings.
